New programmable direct-drive servo rotary actuator

CAMCO's new DX Series is a programmable direct-drive servo rotary actuator for small dial applications requiring versatility. It benefits from numerous customer-friendly features including:

  • High accuracy and repeatability
  • Quick response to reduce tact time
  • Overload protection
  • Cam profile motions to provide smooth acceleration and deceleration
  • Semi-automatic tuning

Ten different sizes are available, with with maximum torque capacity ranging from 6Nm to 500Nm. Maximum speed is up to 300rpm for the smaller models.

The DX Series is easily programmed and reprogrammed from a PC or handheld pendant to support setup changes efficiently. The actuator can be sequenced through digital I/O (PNP or NPN) or through DeviceNet, Profibus-DP or CC Link protocols.

Equipped with permanent lubrication for zero maintenance, the DX Series saves on energy by operating only during indexing.
