New single-stage side entry regulators in Saffire 300 series
Murex Welding Products is extending its range of Saffire 300 Series regulators with the introduction of single-stage side entry models. In keeping with the tradition of the Saffire brand, these regulators will provide users with robust and reliable control of industrial fuel gases, while promoting the highest levels of safety in the workplace.
The new side entry range includes units for use with oxygen and fuel gases to enable welding, cutting and brazing and also process control regulators for use in MIG/MAG and TIG welding. The Saffire side entry regulators are designed so that they can be connected to all gas manufacturers cylinders presently being used in the UK and Ireland. The extended length "bull nose' stem ensures clearance of any protective cowling fitted to the cylinder making assembly easy and trouble free. All units have a 300bar inlet capacity, with calibration and quality management being controlled through the company's ISO 9001 system. All models are fully compliant and certified to BS EN ISO 2503.
In line with the overall advanced design of Saffire Series 300 regulators, the new side entry models feature a rugged, high-strength body and bonnet. These are designed to operate safely with increased cylinder pressures up to 300bar, whilst accurately displaying the contents of the cylinders, the working pressure or gas flow from the regulator.
All Murex Saffire regulators are clearly and permanently date stamped for class identification, inspection and safety purposes as well as being easily identifiable to show their particular gas usage type.
