New software suite for HBM MP85A FASTpress amplifier
HBM has launched its MP85A FASTpress amplifier for monitoring fitting processes, such as stamping, riveting, or clinching, in real-time while they are still running. Potential problems can be detected immediately, enabling rapid remedial action. The amplifier can monitor up to 300 fitting processes per minute.
The MP85A FASTpress amplifier is supported by a new software suite that provides several functions for the control, evaluation and analysis of process data. These include EASYsetup for user administration, EASYteach for process analysis and MP85A Toolkit for individual programming.
EASYteach analyses the process run and is capable of acquiring even minimal tolerance variations in statistics and exporting these as evaluation criteria to the MP85A FASTpress amplifier. Process runs can be analysed and controlled more precisely and matched to individual applications.
Meanwhile, the MP85A Toolkit for programming process monitoring software, enables customised applications to be created easily using Microsoft .NET technology (Visual Studio 2003 and 2005). This enables HBM process monitoring to be integrated into existing systems. Supported by a demo program that includes an functioning product application (EASYmonitor), an individual application can be prepared or derived rapidly. The test version can be started up to 25 times before the user must register and purchase a licence.
