New standard machine parts in steel and stainless steel

Berger Tools is introducing three new standard machine parts in steel and stainless steel.

New standard machine parts in steel and stainless steel

GN1130 steel or stainless steel self-locking lifting pin

These new lifting pins are carrier elements designed for fast, easy and, above all, safe use. They resolve many application issues by being space-saving, inter-changeable, cost effective, and having additional safety features.

Safety features include the locking-in facility with pushbutton removal. Pressing the red aluminium button releases the locking effect of the locking ball, allowing the load bolt to be moved in or out of the holding bore hole. The shackle rotates by at least 180 degrees, with a safety flange fitted as a safeguard against inadvertent operation. Depending on the direction of pull, the ball load bolt may move freely by 360 degrees in the holding bore hole.

It is no longer necessary to have sling and lifting gear permanently remaining at the workpiece (eg load rings). Holding bore holes with d1 H11 tolerance are sufficient in use. Once the holding bush is fixed into the desired application, the lifting pin is inserted for completion. The lifting pin can then be removed and attached to another application without the need to purchase additional lifting bolts. If the pin is removed, then unauthorised lifting cannot take place without the lifting pins being issued. Another advantage is that once the pins are removed then no protruding eye bolts are left on show, making the project or desired application look much more professional in appearance.

GN8330 hook clamp in steel and stainless steel

Berger Tools says that these new hook clamps are notable for their superior functionality and design. The integrated spring mechanism holds the locking lever and the clamping hook in the open position for easy operation. Once the dead centre is exceeded, the elasticity of the sheet metal parts cause the hook clamp to close. With this clamping hook, the elements to be connected can be pulled together during clamping. The locking mechanism can be secured via the drill hole using spring-loaded plugs. Lead seals may also be attached.

GN129.5 anti-tamper hinge in stainless steel

These stainless steel hinges are used for doors that sit flush with the frame on the outside. Once assembled, they cannot be unhinged. With the fixing from the inside, they are especially suitable for doors and trap doors that must not be detachable from the outside, acting as an anti-tamper device. These stainless steel hinges are suitable for use in cleanrooms, for example, in the food and medical industries.
