New vacuum and pressure switches
Norstat has added a range of vacuum and pressure switches that are said to be suitable for robotics, materials handling with vacuum lifting technology and a variety of other machine and automation applications
Norstat’s NANO-02 is a compact, space-saving design with an anodised aluminum housing making it suitable for use in harsh environments. It is equipped with two transistor switching outputs, one of which can be utilised as an IO-Link communication interface allowing it to communicate with sensors or actuators. It allows three types of data to be exchanged – process, service and events.
The NANO-02 is claimed to be easy to programme, utilising its keys and display to access the 3 digit, 7 segment display menu. Three status LED’s and the diagnosis function of the IO-Link provide fault diagnostics. The NANO-02 features an M8 4 pole connector, and carries a protection rating of IP65.
