The new family of PLUS Servo Drives from Copley Controls includes AC- and DC-powered digital drives for servo and stepper motors. Available in the UK and fully supported by Servo Components & Systems, these drives are offered in both EtherCAT and CANopen versions. Multi-axis models deliver an exceptionally good cost-per-node. A wide range of absolute interfaces are built-in, including BiSS, SSI, Absolute A and EnDat.
PLUS drives feature high-resolution A/D converters for optimal current control as well as fast, hardware-based position capture and setpoint trigger output. M-Series modules have the flexibility to control both servo and stepper motors.
The Safe Torque Off (STO) capability eliminates the expensive contactors and complex wiring traditionally used in safety-critical applications. Safe Torque Off provides two 'drive enable' inputs facilitating system conformance to SIL 3 (IEC 61800-5-2) and Category 3 PLd (ISO 13849-1).
An addition to the standard servo drives is the R-Series range. These are ruggedised versions of the Xenus and Accelnet servo drives, in panel-mount, module and PCB formats. Designed to endure temperature extremes, high humidity, vibration and shock, the R-Series drives are suitable for applications in COTS military, nautical, aviation, oil refining and vehicle-based systems. Mil-Std-810 specifications are met with the R-Series of servo drives.
From servo drives and stepper drives to simple torque drives, Servo Components & Systems have servo drive options to meet almost any customer needs.
