New website for stainless steel and titanium standard parts

The company was set up in May 2005 to supply European customers and partners with Sugatsune stainless steel industrial hardware and components direct from stock held at its UK warehouse.

Mike Rogers, European CEO, comments: "It is a very exciting time for us, getting the UK website up and running. Another important milestone in the development of the European side of the business, this will serve to increase availability of our products to the UK and the rest of Europe, particularly those smaller customers who might feel nervous about approaching larger companies directly. It will also serve to promote the range of products that we stock here in the UK."

Finished to a very high standard, the company's 3500-plus product range includes: assisted lift door stays/hinges; conventional hinges including concealed and detent types; flush and conventional handles; latching systems; mechanical and magnetic catches; fasteners; casters; adjustable feet; drawer slides; locks; brackets; and shelving systems.

The company's renowned craftsmanship and attention to detail is reflected in the inherent reliability of its products and in the patented Lapcon damping technology on its soft opening/closing devices.

Many of the company's products are available in either 304 or 316 grade stainless steel for use in aggressive operating environments such as food processing and marine. Meticulous attention has been paid to design so that, while functional and highly durable, the hardware is also stylish with an air of refinement. The products are as equally suitable for fitting out multi-million-pound yachts as they are for pharmaceutical manufacturing or clean room applications, where their resistance to contamination is underpinned by the ability to withstand repeated wash-down conditions.
