Nicomatic will highlight its innovative ranges of connectors targeting industrial and high-rel applications at the Embedded World exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany 25-27th February 2020. The company will be in Hall 3 at Booth 600.
A major focus for Nicomatic is the company's range of miniature, hi-rel connectors which deliver excellent performance and can be stacked closely together to minimize PCB space. Lightweight and secure, new 1mm pitch AMM series connectors can carry up to 4.8A (PCB to cable, 20 pins at 25degC) or 2.5A (PCB to PCB, 20 pins at 25degC), and can withstand vibrations of 15G and shock of 100G. Devices can handle up to 1000 mating cycles and can operate between -65 and 200degC.
Another member of the company's high-performance connector range, the 1.27mm pitch EMM series, meets the performance requirements of MIL 83513 while occupying 40 per cent less space than previous-generation connectors and being are 20 per cent smaller than Micro D connectors (16-pin configurations).
Due to Nicomatic's modular manufacturing and production processes many variants of the AMM and EMM connectors can be available on 48 hour leadtimes. Connectors are also available pre-wired for simple system build.
Other connector series on display at Embedded World will be the 360 degree-metal shielded MIL-DTL-83513 G-compatible DMM products which are also modular in nature and suit high-power and high-frequency applications. These devices are also available with metal-plated composite bodies (DLMM series) offering shielding and light weight.
Nicomatic will also demonstrate its capabilities in cabling, including the innovative Crimpflex flexible connection system which is particularly suited to printed electronics. Also on display will be the company's wide capability in industrial domes for high-rel membrane designs, test points and LED connectors.
Marketing Manager, Phil McDavitt comments: "Nicomatic becks up these high-performance connector and industrial products with full laboratory reports and STEP files to ensure customers achieve the best solution for their application."
