Non-threaded fasteners in RAL and Pantone colours
Jet Press is introducing fir tree buttons and ratchet rivets with tough decorative finishes in an extensive choice of colours. As a result, fasteners can either 'disappear' or contrast with the component they are fixing in place.
The fasteners can be supplied in both RAL and Pantone colour shades. They are available in large and small quantities and have a baked enamel finish that is said to be impossible to remove without destroying the fastener.
Fir tree buttons are used to secure board, rubber or other soft sheet materials to secondary panels or for holding components to panels. They are used in the automotive industry to secure trim, but are also used in shop fittings and office furniture.
Ratchet rivets consist of two parts that are pushed together to form a secure and tamper-proof fixing. As well as being used in motor vehicles, they are used in other assembled items such as audio equipment.
