Nord brings innovative drive solutions to SPS 2022

Nord Drivesystems will be presenting its drive solutions for intelligent production from 8 to 10 November at SPS in Nuremberg. The drive experts look forward to meeting visitors in person on Stand 451 in Hall 3A.

One of Nord’s exhibition highlights is the new LogiDrive solution space, meeting the needs of the post and parcel, airport and warehouse application areas. Both basic and advanced designs are available that are optimised in terms of energy efficiency, version reduction or total cost of ownership.

Also on the stand will be the DuoDrive geared motor in its hygienic wash-down design. It covers powers of up to 3 kW and integrates an IE5+ synchronous motor into a single-stage helical gear unit. Calculated across the system, the compact geared motor is said to achieve up to 92 percent efficiency and is characterised by high energy efficiency.

Frequency inverters from Nord’s NORDAC PRO product family will also be on show, including compact frequency inverters with an integrated multi-protocol Ethernet interface for different power classes (0.25 to 22 kW). The NORDAC PRO SK 500P basic version offers high-quality connection and functional features such as a CANopen interface, brake chopper, PLC function and POSICON positioning control. Plug-in control and option modules ensure maximum flexibility.

With its electronic drive technology product portfolio, Nord supports drive-based functional safety for control cabinet and decentralised inverters. The integration of the drives is carried out fail-safe via Ethernet and via discrete inputs and outputs.
