Ondrives offers drawn-cup needle roller bearings

Drawn-cup needle roller bearings are just one type of bearing now offered as standard by mechanical drive components specialist Ondrives Ltd.

Ondrives offers drawn-cup needle roller bearings

There are three types available, namely open-end bearings, inner ring only and closed-end bearings. All are made from hardened steel with a steel case and steel cages, except those with bore sizes from 3-4mm, which have hardened steel needles. For optimum life expectancy, they are recommended for use on hardened or toughened shafts. Accuracy is affected, depending on the accuracy of the housing and shaft used.

The bearings will operate at a permissible operating temperature of 120degC with continuous use.
