The safety controller can be used in applications up to safety category SIL 3 in accordance with IEC 61508/61511 and PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1.

In operation, the SPLC 3000 can communicate with up to 300 F-Devices as an F-Host and simultaneously act as an F-Device. The safety controller is fully integrated into the open PLCnext Technology ecosystem and provides a high degree of modularity in combination with the Profisafe I/O extensions of the Axiobus, which can be aligned on the right-hand side.

The high-performance and redundantly designed ARM-based safety-related CPUs have a clock rate of 800 MHz for channel 1 and 600 MHz for channel 2.
