Plastic cable glands are IP68/69K and ATEX-approved

Anixter Components (formerly Heyco) is introducing a new range of ATEX-approved cable glands for use in hazardous locations (type e or d according to EN 50014, EN 50018 and EN 50019). The glands fix cables securely in place and are suitable for applications in potentially hazardous areas, including machine apparatus and plant equipment, control and feedback systems, railway vehicles and industrial installations.

Plastic cable glands are IP68/69K and ATEX-approved

The diverse range is offered in sizes from M16 to M32, suitable for cable diameters of 3-25mm, and the glands can operate in a temperature range of -20 to +95degC. Designed for use in the most demanding applications, all the glands in the range carry UL, CSA, VDE, CE, Germanischer Lloyd, ATEX and Ex II 2G 1D approvals, as well as being sealed to IP68/69K for protection against the ingress of dust and water. They are moulded in UL94V-0 rated Nylon 6.6.
