The compact HBM espressoDAQ Q809 thermocouple amplifier enables temperature measurements to be obtained very simply and rapidly. Up to eight thermocouples of all common types can be connected. HBM says the 'Plug-and-Measure' principle ensures that users obtain temperature values very quickly.
Measuring just 116x71x24mm and weighing 170g, the DQ809 thermocouple amplifier is described as 'compact and waistcoat pocket-sized'. There is no need for a separate power supply, as power can be drawn via a USB interface. This means that the DQ809, like all other amplifiers in the espressoDAQ series, is particularly suitable for service applications or those where it is necessary to obtain reliable measured values rapidly and with very little measurement equipment. The sampling rate is up to 10kS/s, individually adjustable for each channel, and each channel has a 24-bit analogue-to-digital converter for synchronised measurements.
The modules are delivered complete with user-friendly software, specially tailored for the espressoDAQ, for configuration, data acquisition and visualisation. The first measurements can be made after just a few mouse clicks, and measured data can be exported in most popular formats.
