Power adaptors comply with latest energy efficiency regulations

The GST120A, which is an upgraded version of the established GS120 power adaptor, features a no-load power consumption of less than 0.15W and, like its average operating efficiency, is superior to that of the Level V-approved GS120. The GST90A offers the same advantages over the GS90. The new products therefore contribute more effectively to energy-saving and carbon reduction targets in both no-load and operating modes.

Mean Well GST products all accept universal 90-264V AC inputs via IEC320-C14 AC Class 1 inlets with frame ground, and all have a built-in power factor correction function. With their fanless, free air convection cooling design, they can operate in temperatures from -30 to +70degC. The adaptors are housed within a 94V-0 flame-retardant plastic case and have full protection from short circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature conditions. An LED indicator enables easy checking of their Power On status.

Both series comply with further global energy efficiency regulations including NRCan, AU/NZMEPS, EU ErP and CoC Version 5. They are also approved for UL/CUL/TUV/BSMI/CCC/PSE/CB/FCC/CE and have a three-year warranty.
