Precision Acoustics sets up joint European Service Centre
Dorset-based Precision Acoustics are at the forefront of the design, development and manufacture of ultrasonic measuring equipment. The company specialises in the research and development of ultrasonic test equipment that is used extensively in the QA of medical devices, provides industry with ultrasonic non-destructive equipment (NDE) and within academia and national measurement institutes throughout the world.
Precision Acoustics has an established relationship with Electronics & Innovation Ltd (E&I) who design and manufacture RF power amplifiers used in ultrasonic measuring equipment.
In collaboration with engineers from the two companies, Precision Acoustics have set up a service centre within the Dorset facility and staff from the company have spent time training at E & I's facility in Rochester, NY.
Tony Harris, President of E&I comments: "We feel it is important for our customers in Europe to have a local authorised centre that is able to calibrate and service E&I amplifiers, so that they do not need to be returned to the USA for calibration or repair".
