Process air heater is versatile and accurate
Hawco Group, in association with Osram Sylvania, is offering an accurate, versatile process air heater for applications up to 650degC. Designated the Skorpion, the air heater provides fully closed-loop PID regulation with a temperature accuracy of +/-1 degree via an on-board controller.
A rugged, robust, all-metal air source guarantees reliable operation in dusty environments, and an adjustable air damper provides flow control. An all-in-one process air heater, the Skorpion comprises Osram Sylvania's patented long-life Serpentine heater elements, air supply, 1/32 DIN temperature controller and sensor.
Other features include an over-temperature safety system, 50A power control solid-state relay, blower ON switch, heater ON switch and a maximum flow rate of 10 SCFM. Typical process applications include drying, melting, curing and sealing. Two versions are available: 1.5kW, 120V and 3.5kW, 240V.
