Pryor Marking Technology exhibited a range of new equipment for the first time at EMO in Hannover. Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham, Minister for Trade and Investment and former head of the CBI, was at the show as a guest of the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA). As part of his tour of UK companies' stands, he visited Pryor to see for himself the new marking and tracking technologies, and used the new Marktronic 3000 Multidot machine to add his own name in Data Matrix code to a piece of aluminium.
John Kidder, Commercial Operations Manager at Pryor Marking Technology, comments: "It was a pleasure for the team to be able to meet Lord Digby Jones and to be able to demonstrate the latest advances in our industry-leading range of marking and traceability equipment. Pryor Marking Technology exhibits at each EMO event and finds this be an ideal platform to reach out to high-tech industry sectors in the global engineering marketplace."
Among the new products on the stand were the following: Marktronic 3000 Integrator range; Marktronic 3000 SilentScribe; DataMouse Pro handheld code reader; and the new Locus, an ultrasound device that can read Data Matrix codes through paint or other coatings.
