Push-in contact inserts with click-in latching

The Heavycon heavy-duty connectors from Phoenix Contact are used for cabling from the control cabinet through to the field level. Now the product range is being extended to include new fixed-position push-in contact inserts with click-in latching.

This makes simple, tool-free installation throughout possible for the first time. The previous work of screwing the contact inserts is replaced by secure, audible, and perceptible latching into the connector housing. Shock- and vibration-resistant, the click-in contact insert enables a reliable plug-in connection. This assembly solution, together with the Push-in connection technology, features easy handling and considerable time savings.

Even the PE connection is made with the new click-in contact inserts by direct plugging with push-in connection. Additional flexibility is provided by inserting pre-assembled cable harnesses either from the inside or outside of the control cabinet into the panel-mount base.

The new push-in contact inserts with click-in latching are available in the sizes B06, B10, B16, and B24. There are male and female versions in each size. They fit into all plastic and metal housings of the Heavycon Standard and EVO series.
