Qualify as a Certified Electrical Safety Engineer with Wieland
In 2019 Wieland Electric is running more training courses for designers, developers, service personnel, safety engineers and machine builders with responsibility for safety who would like to qualify as a Certified Electrical Safety Engineer (CESE). Attendees learn the necessary legal basics and gain an understanding of standards to enable them evaluate the safety of machinery and to design and calculate safety functions.
The CESE Course is a co-operation between SGS-TUV Saar and Wieland, so successful attendees are awarded an internationally recognised SGS-TUV Saar certificate. The focus of the course is on the electrotechnical aspects of machinery safety. With a maximum of 12 participants per course, everyone has ample opportunity to ask questions and gain the most benefit from the three days of training.
Two courses are running at Wieland UK's office in Guildford as follows:
- 5-7 March 2019
- 17-19 September 2019
Topics covered are:
- EU directives, law and standards
- Risk assessment according to EN ISO 12100
- Functional safety according to EN ISO 13849 parts 1 and 2
- Safety relevant sensors, logic and electrical actuators
- Realisation of safety performance level PL
- Verification and validation of safety systems
The course fee of 1200 + VAT includes the TUV examination and TUV certificate.
