Rack air-conditioning unit features low-noise fans

Rittal is introducing a new low-noise TopTherm Plus rack air-conditioning unit that is suitable for use in office and laboratory environments. The new units feature an integral design and contain specially designed low-noise fans, which avoids the more expensive option of water-cooling with an external chiller. Units are currently available for applications up to 750W.

Each model is also equipped with the new Condensate Management System (CMS), which eliminates the need to make provisions for condensation. CMS collects the condensate and evaporates it back into the external atmosphere via a heating element and routing tube.

Available on fast delivery times, the new units can operate from 230V or 115V 50/60Hz. Dimensions are compatible with any rack with RS232, RS485 and RS422 provision for on-line connectivity.

Units come complete with a two-year global warranty, and service can be arranged in over 80 different countries.
