Radical Sportscars utilise Parvalux electric motors

British race car manufacturer Radical Sportscars has selected Parvalux to supply the compressor motor in a new paddle shift system for its range of sports vehicles that cater for novice track drivers to seasoned professionals alike. Many of Radical's sports-cars are road-legal, and include what is claimed to be the world's fastest production sportscar, the SR8, which currently holds the lap record around Germany's famous Nuerburgring Nordschleife circuit.

Paddle shift systems are available for both Hewland and PowerTec type transmissions and come with a Parvalux motor-drive pneumatic compressor to enable effortless semi-automatic gear selection. The system may be purchased preinstalled or as an upgrade kit from the Radical website.
