Amtri Veritas – Training on Lifting equipment, lifting accessories and stillages – book the course! This one- day course covers the safety and compliance of equipment used for lifting operations such as cranes, hoists, lifting beams, chains, slings and other equipment including stillages. It is aimed at project managers, engineering leaders, safety and compliance engineers, quality managers and anyone who is involved with the design of machinery or other equipment used for lifting. Machinery legislation places some specific additional obligations on equipment that is used for lifting operations, both lifting equipment (for loads and people) and lifting accessories. Manufacturers and users of this equipment must be aware of these requirements and ensure compliance with them. The course details these additional requirements and methods for demonstrating compliance. It also covers the interface between product and user legislation (LOLER), and equipment used for lifting, but which is outside of the scope of machinery. The course will allow you to correctly categorise equipment used for lifting and identify and comply with the relevant requirements. Please contact training@amtriveritas.com for more details. #machinerydirective #machineryregulation #cemarking #ukca #machinerysafety #machinerycompliance

Amtri Veritas has been granted the Annex IV scope for certification of refuse collection vehicles under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations. Following an HSE decision to place restrictions on C-type standard EN 1501-5:2021, refuse collection vehicles with lifting devices may no longer be self-certified by manufacturers for placing on the UK market. Amtri Veritas is now offering type examination to the EHSRs for refuse collection vehicles for the UK market.
