The Festo CPX-Automation Platform [AP] delivers extremely fast and powerful field-level bus, saving on the cost of fieldbus nodes and supplying amazing network flexibility. The CPX-AP function blocks are compatible with the leading Ethernet bus systems.
The latest Festo CMMT servo drives also prove their flexibility with multi-protocol connectivity without any changes to hardware. Festo will demonstrate how these can be applied to reap the reward of tailoring the right architecture to the right machine.
