Manufacturing Engineer Tim Phillips comments: "With the DMG Mori-Seiki NCX2500 and NTX2000 replacing legacy equipment, it will allow us to produce components that are fully machined and de-burred with no additional operations required. This is a vast improvement on the previous set up and will not only streamline the production process, but also ensure that the parts are also manufactured more accurately and to a higher quality."

Alongside the upgraded machinery, new positions have been created in key areas of the business and a new IT system is being implemented, in order to improve Renold Couplings' all round service offering.
