Safe Contact extension with wide voltage range
With the PSR-URM4 42-230V contact extension device from Phoenix Contact, safety-oriented signals can be processed further for an input voltage range from 42 to 230V AC/DC as potential-free contacts. In connection with a corresponding PSR ESAM 4 base unit, safety-relevant circuits can thus be constructed up to PLe or SIL 3. The devices can also be used for applications in furnaces according to EN 50156.
The contact extension device completes the portfolio of Phoenix Contact PSR safety relays. In addition to the PSR- ESAM4 base units, which are already available in various voltage versions, the new devices now complete the field of application above the nominal voltage of 24V.
