Schaeffler Linear in the UK

As many will know, Schaeffler acquired Ewellix in January 2023 to build and strengthen its position in the linear motion marketplace. Ewellix now joins the high quality, well established and proven INA brand. Acorn is the leading distributor for Ewellix products in the UK and is a key brand within its market leading Linear Division.

Acorn is now stocking a very wide range of INA products, including rails, carriages and bushes. Rails are held in stock and can be cut to customer's requirements, using Acorn's very high-quality rail cutting technology. INA rails will be available on Acorn's Linear24 service, meaning that rails can be sourced from Acorn's UK stock, cut to requirements and be ready for dispatch within 24 hours of order. Acorn can also make up rail/carriage assemblies, again utilising their own UK stocks.

In today's ever more competitive marketplace, speed and service are paramount. For essential maintenance, along with break down instances, quick availability of the correct specification component is often critical. By offering Schaeffler INA products, including cut rails, from stock, Acorn's customers know that they don't have to worry about delays to delivery due to rails or other components coming from outside the UK, with the associated danger of late delivery due to shipping and customs hurdles.

Ewellix linear products are in the process of being integrated into the Schaeffler INA brand. Some products have already made the shift, with the remainder coming at pace. As Acorn is the existing leading Ewellix UK distributor, it is well positioned to advise on and supply any Ewellix or INA linear components.

Ewellix actuators, lifting pillars, roller screws and ball screws continue under the Ewellix brand at present. These products continue to be supplied and supported by Acorn.

Acorn has a dedicated Linear Division, with technical advice and application support (including site visits) available in house.
