See expanded range of Lafert motors at Drives & Controls
Lafert Electric Motors will be on stand D1404 at the Drives & Controls exhibition (NEC, Birmingham, 17-19 April 2012) to promote its expanded ranges of high-efficiency IE2 and IE3 motors, servo motors, direct-drive motors, high-performance motors and specialised lift motors, as well as specially engineered products. In addition there will be a selection of the company's AC/DC brake motors and single-phase machines.
All of Lafert's motors can be custom-engineered to suit particular requirements, with any combination of special shafts, flanges, windings and other features.
Lafert's servo motors are new to the UK but are established across Europe, benefiting from the company's proven permanent-magnet expertise. The range covers torque ratings from 0.15 to 150Nm, while the direct-drive option delivers 500Nm.
As well as benefiting from an enhanced weight/size ratio, the high-performance motors also offer substantial increases in efficiency over conventional AC induction motors. The proposed IE4 standards are achieved across the whole speed range.
Lafert's 'standard' AC three-phase motors are available in 56 to 315 frame sizes.
