RARUK Automation has built its reputation on providing cost-effective, hassle-free automation and its MiR mobile robots for in-house materials transport and logistics have played a major part in this success. As well as Universal Robots collaborative robots, RARUK Automation can also call on its Toshiba Machine robots to create the best system for the job. These include its 6-axis robots and a complete range of SCARAs, from low cost to the industry leading system with 1200mm reach that can carry up to 20kg.
The SCARA robots selected for Robotics & Automation are suitable for moving small parts and a good match for the RARUK Automation FlexiBowl. This cost-effective feeding system allows entire families of parts to be fed into the assembly process and is a good choice for manufacturers whose production involves frequent product changeovers and reduced volumes.
The latest generation Universal Robots e-series machines from RARUK Automation enable faster development for a wider variety of applications, even easier programming and compliance with CAT3 PLd. On stand 702 it will also showcase a new, all-in-one sanding system from Robotiq.
Sanding applications for collaborative robots normally require many inter-communicating hardware and software components. Integration is complex and time-consuming but this development offers a quick and easy option.
The last of the focus products at the show is Pick-it 3D Robot Vision that allows even the most complex 3D picking challenges to be set up and calibrated in a matter of minutes without the need for a robotic programming language. It is a fixed price, plug-and-play product that can be set up and operated by anyone and is suitable for use with all major brands of robot.
This vision system complements the growing range of automation products now available from RARUK Automation, allowing it to select the best combination of elements to provide the optimal solution. For example, Pick-it is approved and ready for integration with any of the company's Universal Robots models.
