Sequential mating system requires less space

ITT Interconnect Solutions is introducing a robust, space-saving version of its NRG Sequential Mating System - half the height of its forerunner at only 3.5inches high. Presented in a 19inch rack format, it guarantees the correct mating for a set of the company's Powerlock power distribution connectors. The NRG 2U retains the patented cam action that ensures the proper sequence of Ground, Neutral, Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 is adhered to.

Suitable for use in applications such as concerts or other outside events, the NRG 2U includes unlocking and locking keys, finger connected contacts and has a lid covering that gives ingress protection to IP67. This is applied both when the connectors are installed and when the lid is locked shut.

The NRG 2U is available in 400A or 660A with European, US and Australian colour coding, and the option of source or drain contacts. Applications include special events - concerts, broadcasts, exhibitions - as well as energy generation.
