Servo motors compatible with Simatic Micro-Drive system
Dunkermotoren has been a market leader in the 20-1100W power range for years thanks to its BG 45, BG 65(S), BG 75 and BG 95 brushless DC motors (24-48V). As part of a product partnership with Siemens, new versions of these motors are now available for use with the latest Simatic Micro-Drive servo drive system.
The simple integration of the Simatic Micro-Drive servo drive system into the Simatic world significantly reduces engineering time. The integration into Siemens automation technology is possible via the TIA portal and simplifies commissioning and service. Communication takes place via Profinet IRT with PROFIsafe and PROFIdrive profiles. The new Safety Integrated Function SLT (safe limited torque) ensures torque is limited by monitoring the motor current during operation.
Smart components in the motor, together with a patented data transmission system, set the controller to a preset state after it is connected to the motor. Cumbersome drive tuning and parameterisation of the controller control loops are therefore no longer necessary.
A sophisticated modular system enables the motors to be individually adapted: matching planetary and right-angle gears and brakes complete the comprehensive portfolio.
