Shield connections for the PCB

Phoenix Contact is extending its portfolio of PCB connection technology for data transmission with the new solderable SH-PCB 6 shield clamp.

The clamp provides reliable grounding of the cable shielding and contributes to EMC protection. It is suitable for shield diameters from 3 to 6 mm and, thanks to the large-surface shield, reduces impedance levels when discharging interfering signals.

Phoenix Contact provides PCB connection technology for all common Industrial Ethernet standards, such as Profinet. With PCB terminal blocks and PCB connectors for Ethernet APL, a comprehensive product portfolio is available for Single Pair Ethernet, with which intelligent field devices can be integrated into switch-based Ethernet environments in process automation.
