SMD PCB terminals with rugged push-in connections

Phoenix Contact is launching SPT-SMD PCB terminals as the latest additions to its range of surface mount device (SMD) components. The push-in connector with integrated spring-cage connection makes it easy to connect and disconnect wires up to 1.5 mm2 without special tools.

Available in versions with 2-12 connections, the PCB terminals can handle currents up to 13.5A and voltages up to 320V. Delivered in tape-on-reel packaging for automatically populating PCBs, the terminals are available in a horizontal and vertical orientation. The horizontal version features two anchoring pins for added stability, while the vertical model comes with twin soldering pins.
