Snap-Line tool-less hardware on show

Dirak had a stand at the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition on 23 October 2008 and was promoting its Snap-Line range of hinges, handles, locks, latches and other fasteners that can be assembled to panels without the need for tools.

Using Dirak's D-Snap technology, the hardware is simply introduced to the panel cutout, whereupon the snap-in elements ensure secure, vibration-proof retention.

This simple assembly technique saves considerable time and, therefore, production costs. Dirak claims that compared with alternative hardware installation technologies, Snap-Line products can save up to 90 per cent of the installation time.

Also on show were several stainless steel products, including hinges, handles and latches, some of which have only recently been added to the range.
