Specialty Fasteners & Components (SFC) has announced that it was acquired by the IS-Group in July 2014. The IS-Group is made up of specialist distributors offering products, support and added-value services to customers in the aerospace, military, motorsport, medical and energy markets, as well as a variety of demanding niche applications. Products handled by members of the IS-Group include specialist fasteners, interconnects, identification and protection components, earth bonding leads, and metal braided products. Existing IS-Group divisions are IS-Rayfast, IS-Connect, IS-Motorsport, IS-Sommer and IS-Cabletec.
