When it comes to putting on a show, then Disneyland is the go-to destination for the next Rockwell Automation TechED featuring Global Encompass Partner Stratus Technologies. The company has announced two presentations as part of the annual three-day conference for end users, system integrators, distributors and Rockwell Automation technical and sales personnel.
Wednesday 18th October will see presenters Stefano Arondi, Project Manager Automazioni Industriali Capitanio (AIC) and Giacomo Ghidini, Regional Manager Italy at Stratus Technologies, address the importance of keeping your connected enterprise always-on.
Giacomo Ghidini of Stratus Technologies says:"We are excited to be presenting alongside Automazioni Industriali Capitanio (AIC) at Rockwell Automation's TechEd. AIC will be taking attendees through the journey of The Connected Enterprise, and keeping it Always-On. AIC has direct insight to how Stratus delivers operational simplicity and continuous availability for their customers running Rockwell Automation's software applications, especially in virtualised environments."
Thursday 19th October sees Robin Dennell, Availability Specialist at Stratus Technologies, demonstrate the Fault Tolerant Server (ftServer). Visitors to TechED will also be welcome to visit the Stratus stand to see Rockwell Automation's FactoryTalk View SE running on the Stratus ftServer platform. Visitors to the stand also have the chance to be entered into a competition for a voice activated Amazon Echo speaker.
Robin Dennell says: "ftServer is a fully integrated continuously available platform which is simple to deploy, manage and service. ftServer helps companies maximise revenue, quality and productivity by ensuring that customers experience no unplanned downtime or data loss. I am pleased to be able to demonstrate this technology, which is simple to deploy, manage and service at TechED."
