Ross Handling is introducing a variety of new specialist products, including synthetic castors, wheelchair wheels, stair climbers and glass handling castors, all of which complement the companies existing extensive range of castors, wheels, tube inserts, adjustable feet, handwheels and handgrips.
GS series synthetic castors (pictured right) are suitable for use on wheelchairs or medical equipment. They feature a light grey body with dark grey non-marking tyres and are available with 100, 125 and 150mm diameter wheels, with or without footbrakes, and with either a 12mm bolt hole or plate fitting.
RJ series medium-duty (non-marking) rubber-tyred wheelchair wheels are feature ball bearings in all sizes (6, 8 and 24inch diameters). The 24inch wheel is also available with a choice of synthetic or polyurethane tyres.
Stair climbers use a pair of sturdy side plates to retain a set of three wheels and a central bearing journal. These units run smoothly on level ground or enable loads to be manoeuvred up or down steps with ease.
Glass handling castors are another new addition to the Ross Handling range. These feature a non-marking spherical 'wheel' on which flat glass can be moved, together with a threaded spindle for easy mounting.
All of the new products can be viewed on the Ross Handling website, which now benefits from an improved menu structure, easier navigation and PDF downloads of the complete brochure or individual pages.
