Tech Tips explain telecentric and IR camera lenses

Firstsight Vision has published two new Tech Tips on its website to explain the use of telecentric lenses and choosing lenses for infrared imaging systems.

Tech Tips explain telecentric and IR camera lenses

Telecentric lenses have traditionally been used mainly for high-precision gauging applications, but the new Tech-Tip gives examples of other possible application areas where this specialist imaging technique can be used to advantage.

With the upturn in IR sensitive camera availability, together with a wider appreciation of the benefits of IR imaging, the second new Tech-Tip discusses the suitability of lenses for these systems.

Firstsight Vision and its partners publish Technical Tips on a regular basis. These publications can be found by clicking the Tech Tips tab at www.visionelements.co.uk/support_frame.html.
