Test chambers feature faster temperature change

Designed to provide a rate of change of 5degC/min or more, the chambers feature a large capacity of 1800 litres. This enables items under test to be subjected to high thermal; stresses. Operating temperature range is-40 to + 180degC with the SML and SMU models and -70 to +180degC with the SMS and SMG models.

Two models, the SML and the SMS, have a humidity facility for further testing from 20 to 98 per cent RH.

The load capacity on the floor throughout the range is 1800kg. Internal dimensions are 1200 x 1000 x 1500mm with exterior dimensions of 1400 x 1900 2726mm and a weight of 1250kg (1400kg for the SMS/SMG models). To keep the required installation space as small as possible, the instrumentation panel has been integrated within the door. The controls are on a colour touch-screen LCD that is both easy to see and operate. A large viewing window is incorporated for illuminated inspection of the test area.

This new range complements Unitemp's extensive range of test and monitoring chambers/ovens. Furthermore, the company also has the expertise to provide 'specials' to customers' requirements.
