Test chambers feature improved control for reduced energy costs

There are 12 models with a temperature range of -70 to 150degC, while some of the larger models have a humidity range of 10 to 98 per cent. Manufactured inside and out from high-quality steel, they have internal measurements ranging from 500 x 600 x 750mm to 1000 x 900 x 1000mm

The three enhanced models are:

1. PL-1J/2J/3J/4J - temperature range of -40 to 100degC and humidity range of 20-98 per cent RH
2. PR-1J/2J/3J/4 - temperature range of -20 to 100degC and humidity range of 20-98 per cent RH
3. PU-1J/2J/3J/4 - temperature range of -40 to 100degC

Lower energy consumption

All of the new models feature a new Smart Refrigerator and Dehumidifier System for very fine PID control of the primary and secondary refrigeration circuits. This feature helps to reduce energy consumption. In addition, a new-generation controller is embedded in the chamber for easy and secured network communication (via an Ethernet port). This enables users to monitor and control the chamber remotely, as well as creating, testing and exchanging program data and other functions.

Also new is a redesigned door handle with key lock and and an option panel with five panels instead of three, with all functions located within the same area for easy operation. There is now an automatic change and refill of the humidity tray water, while all PL and PU models are equipped with a stainless steel humidifier to prevent corrosion.

Improved hinged service panels provide easy access, and new heavy-duty castors provide ease of movement.

These new models complement the existing Unitemp ranges of chambers and ovens, and the company also has the expertise to design and build specials to suit customers' requirements.
