The low noise, high efficiency, low pulsation gear pump

The ELIKA gear pump reduces the noise level by an average of 15 dBA compared with a conventional external gear pump, and by as much as 20 dBA depending on the size of pump.

ELIKA, Marzocchi's low noise, high efficiency, low pulsation, hydraulic helical gear pump is a perfect fit for all applications that require low noise levels. It was developed in close collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bologna, and has been granted patent for its gear tooth profile.

Manufactured by Italian gear pumps and motors specialist Marzocchi Pompe, the original product group in the ELIKA series are the ELI2 hydraulic gear pump range with displacements from 7 to 35 cm³/rev and maximum operating pressures up to 300 bar. The ELI2 pumps are drop-in replacements for standard gear pumps such as the ALP2 and GHP2, when applications require reduced noise levels.

Tandem and multiple pumps also available where requirement consists of two or more gear pumps mounted on a common drive shaft. Hydraulically, the multiple pumps operate independently and can be supplied with intermediate sealing if the requirement is for each section to deliver different fluids. The larger pump of the combination is normally sited at the shaft end (the drive side).
