Tool-free power distribution

With the IPD pluggable installation system, Phoenix Contact says it allows easy and time-saving power distribution in building and infrastructure equipment. “This ensures trouble-free operation and reliable assembly, even in particularly difficult installation situations.”

On the field side, connectors with Push-Lock and panel feed-throughs, with Push-in connection, provide “easy tool-free assembly. The pluggable connection with a fast-locking mechanism makes it easy to replace the devices when servicing is required”, adds the company.

Mechanical coding protects against mismatching. Various pin and socket versions are available. Featuring the IP67 degree of protection, the products are described as ideal for use outdoors and in wet areas.
