Touch panel HMI computers have stainless front bezels
Axiomtek is launching the GOT series of fanless touch panel computers for human machine interface (HMI) applications. The new slimline computers, GOT-3108T and GOT-3128T, measure 10.4inches and 12.1inches and both support NEMA 4X compliant stainless front bezels and ultra-low-voltage Intel Celeron M 800MHz processors.
The specially designed stainless front bezel is anti-corrosive and waterproof. This enables the GOT-3108T and GOT-3128T systems to qualify for NEMA 4X certification. Because of this easy-clean feature the fanless touch panel computers can be widely applied within the food processing industries, chemical factories etc. Indeed, the GOT-3128T is suitable for use in the most harsh of environments, as it supports temperatures ranging from -20degC to +50degC.
The new computers from Axiomtek have been approved to a high standard, having undergone shock and vibration tests at 1.3G (5-500Hz). The slim design makes them appropriate for any environment where there is limited space.
The GOT-3108T model is equipped with a 600nits, high-brightness LCD providing an innovative 'sunlight readable' design that can be applied to outdoor use.
In response to customers' requests for wireless applications, the GOT-3108T and GOT-3128T have a Mini PCI slot and a built-in fixed rotational WLAN antenna (IEEE 802.11b/ 802.11g ) for wireless network connection. By plugging in the Mini PCI WLAN card, users have an instant wireless LAN.
These fanless touch panel computers provide a fuse to protect the system from being damaged by over-voltage. They feature a 200-pin DDR DIMM up to 1 GB system memory and support varied embedded operating systems (EOS) including Windows® 98/SE/NT4.0/2000/XP, Windows CE.NET, Windows XPe, and Linux. Other powerful feature I/Os include fast Ethernet, watchdog timer, audio, two USB2.0 ports, Mini PCI, VGA, and CompactFlash.
