Touch panels for high EMC requirements – White Paper

In this White Paper, Schurter does more than just touch the surface on the subject of EMC compliance for touch panels

Touch panels for high EMC requirements – White Paper

Touch panel products for the European market must comply with European directives and be CE certified. An essential requirement is that these products meet the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). But what exactly are these requirements?

Other electrical devices in the immediate vicinity of a touch panel must not affect the operation of the device, so it follows that to comply, the panel must have high immunity to interference.

Conversely, the panel itself must not interfere with other products either, so its own emissions must be low. Discover more by checking out the White Paper.
