Underlining Tsubaki's commitment to the European market, and after more than a year of research, the first foundation pile was driven into the ground for the new European headquarters of Tsubakimoto Europe BV on 5 August 2006 by Mr Y Kitayama, President of Tsubakimoto Europe. Mr F Rosmolen, General Manager of the PT division, informed guests at the ceremony of the planned opening date - and one not easy to forget, being 07/07/07.
The location of the new headquarters is midway between the company's current premises in Roosendaal, in the Netherlands, and its Dutch office and original headquarters in Rotterdam. Tsubaki has purchased approximately 12,000m2 of land on the industrial zone Dordtse Kil III, which has close motorway access to the A16 and the N217/N3.
About half of the total area will be dedicated to warehousing in order to meet the growth expectations of the organisation, and there will be 2000m2 of offices for logistics, sales, engineering support, plus specific new areas for partner/customer training and product development.
