TTP wins awards for design and consultancy

The Technology Partnership (TTP) has won the 2008 Innovation and Design Excellence Award. In addition, the company won the Best Design Consultancy Award and was highly commended for the Design Collaboration Award. The Innovation and Design Excellence awards (iDEA) 2008 were organised by Eureka, New Electronics magazine and Cranfield School of Management, and were presented at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park, London, on Friday 19 September 2008.

TTP says the iDEA awards recognise its track record in innovation for a diverse range of products and industries. The products submitted by TTP as examples of its work were: a satellite radio, a veterinary instrument, and a product developed in-house by TTP, the Meteor print control system for inkjet printers.

Peter Taylor, TTP Group's CEO, comments: "Winning the prestigious iDEA awards, and the Queen's award earlier in the year, are a tribute to the incredibly talented staff who work at TTP. They make things happen, things that are commercially and technically brilliant."

Allan Carmichael, TTP Business Development Manager, accepted the award and said: "Cranfield, Eureka magazine and New Electronics are doing a magnificent job in promoting innovation and design in the UK and we are delighted to be part of it as award recipients this year."

TTP was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category in April 2008.
