Two years after its acquisition, Laidler Associates is being rebranded as TV SD Product Service. With the business integration process now complete, TV SD is able to deliver machinery safety services through five UK locations as part of a network of 600 international sites. To mark the rebrand, TV SD Product Service will be hosting a series of Machinery Safety Roadshows starting in September 2012.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Register of Convictions shows that 62 per cent of breaches under the Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) have been committed under Regulation 11 - Dangerous Parts of Machinery. The TV SD roadshows will therefore highlight the key safety issues for machine users, review the latest products and suggest practical solutions to machinery safety problems.
Jean-Louis Evans, the Managing Director of TV SD Product Service, says: "Since our acquisition of Laidler two years ago, the synergies we anticipated between our two organisations have paid off. We have established a much stronger machinery safety business for TV SD and an enviable position in the UK market.
"For our current customers there is no material change in the machinery safety services with which they are familiar. The team shall continue to deliver cost-effective and practical safety services upon which our reputation is built, but supported by a wider network of product safety experts and a wealth of experience."
Paul Laidler, the Business Director for Machinery Safety at TV SD Product Service, adds: "Now that we have completed the integration into the TV SD business, the machinery division will benefit from its international reach. Our customers will have increased choice and the ability to reap the rewards of economies of scale for all their product safety needs."
