UKIVA publishes September 2007 newsletter

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of the formation of the UKIVA, the newsletter contains a feature-length article from UKIVA Director, Don Braggins, entitled 'Vision in Sport', as well as the regular section featuring news from UKIVA members. A full directory of UKIVA members is also included.

The full programme for the series of free UKIVA seminars to be held at the Photonex Exhibition (17/18 October 2007, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, UK) is detailed in the newsletter. These seminars will include contributions from some of the Association's Research Members in a section entitled: 'Industrial Vision research - What's next?' These are in addition to the industrial-based seminars entitled 'Recent advances in Industrial Vision' from the Association's full members.

Don Braggins says: "The Association is extremely pleased with the level of contribution from members to make this issue of the newsletter so large. The newsletter is always popular with visitors to the UKIVA website, and with more than 6000 visitors per month to the site, it is a powerful way of letting the vision community know about their latest developments."
