Unitemp adds HAST accelerated stress test chambers

Using a combination of temperature over 100 degrees C with high humidity and pressure, which gives the equivalent of extreme conditions, test requirements can be accelerated by a factor of 50 or more.

The control panel is mounted on the top right-hand side on the access door with an easy-to-read display. Ten programs can be stored in the memory, allowing full control of the test profile, especially the critical cool-down phase.

Each system includes specimen power terminals that allow easy wiring to test samples, despite the pressurised chamber design. These systems are capable of two different operation modes: saturated humidity and unsaturated humidity. The M-instrumentation option enables humidity via a wet bulb sensor, eliminating the risk of condensation on samples over the entire test. Chambers with two bays allow twice as much testing with the same footprint.

All models have a temperature range of 105-162 degrees C, with humidity of 75-100 per cent RH, and pressure of 0.19-3.87atm. The interior volume is from 18-130 litres and dimensions are 250 x 320 x 250mm to 550 x 550 x 550mm.
