V-belts from ContiTech now transmit more power

The raw-edged V-belts from the ContiTech Power Transmission Group now transmit even more power. Thanks to a new production process, the company has increased the performance of the CONTI-V FO-ADVANCE heavy-duty V-belts by up to 15 per cent. The belts support drive systems in many industrial applications; for example, machine and systems constructions, ventilation technology as well as in pumps and compressors.

With the new belts, drives will be more cost-efficient. Dirk Bartsch-Kuszewski, head of application engineering at the ContiTech Power Transmission Group explains: "We are able to transmit more power using the same space or the same power in a smaller installation spac". In addition, the belts show even better consistency in sets, enter the pulley very precisely, and generally run more smoothly. ContiTech invested in two new grinding machines for the modified production process.

Various lengths of new belt are available from dealers in the profiles XPA, XPB, XPC and XPZ from 1250mm to 3550mm. To find out more about the CONTI-V FO-ADVANCE heavy-duty V-belts from ContiTech, visit the website at www.contitech.de.
